THIS RESTAURANT CLOSED NOVEMBER 2011
The name Chris "Magic Fingers" Kinjo has quickly become synonymous with superlative sushi in Atlanta. Designed by brother and co-founder Alex, the chic establishment fills with an urban clientele that enjoys the contrast of traditional Japanese art and modern techno beats. The sushi bar packs in patrons intently watching Magic Fingers - the nickname from which the restaurant's name is derived - at work, as he prepares his assembly of colorful sashimi and creatively designed sushi rolls. Ask about special fish selections and unique delicacies from Japan that are not on the menu. A sister restaurant, MF Buckhead, opened in fall 2007.
Beer, wine and sake available. Serving lunch Mon-Fri, dinner nightly.
"A clean, contemporary approach to sushi and sashimi underscores the quality and respect for both tradition and modernity."
