Ketchup Performance Art. Finally...Condiments Get Some Respect.
Posted by admin

From Eat Me "Here is the behind-the-scenes video from Martynka Wawrzyniak's exhibit "Ketchup" at Envoy Enterprises in New York City. In the performance aspect of the piece, she had a bunch of kids shoot her with water guns loaded with ketchup. The show also had a a series of photographs of closeups of photos of children with ketchup on their faces."

In the video, Martynka states,“Ketchup really represents kids, American kids, consumer culture, a lot of war and violence, kind of a male aggression”. If this is Martynka’s thoughts on ketchup, please keep her away from salsa!
