DESCRIPTION

Even with the numerous fine-dining options in the Fells Point/Harbor East area, Baltimore foodies can't get enough of chef/co-owner (with husband Tony Foreman) Cindy Wolf's Charleston, named after the South Carolina city whose kitchens taught her the ins and outs of Southern cooking. The much-honored chef splits her time between Petit Louis Bistro and this much-honored restaurant, where the "improvisational" menu features Wolf's unique blend of French and Low Country technique, such as shellfish bisque or a salad of grilled local peaches.

James Beard Foundation: Cindy Wolf, Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic finalist, 2014.

"Wolf's daily menu gathers the best of each season into a winsome collection of elegant eats, while Foreman's commanding wine list offers a chartered tour of world viniculture. Put this together with professional service and a richly hued, Deco-flavored interior to see why the place is second home to city scenesters."
