Nuvo Burrito takes a different approach than the DIY chains and their copycats. Namely, the menu features burrito combinations that are already pre-selected, thus making the ordering process smoother. For those troubled with indecision and menu anxiety, this is a good thing. It may not compete with the more authentic or longer-tenured burrito joints in town, but it does a pretty solid job with the basics. We can recommend the Ozark - chicken, black beans, brown rice, jalapeños, cheese, cooked onion/bell peppers blend, romaine and salsa. Or there's the Berkeley - artichoke hearts, sprouts, black beans, Monterey jack, cilantro pesto, spinach, cumin-corn relish and rice in a spinach tortilla. Cleverly named quesadillas are available as well.
